What is this? This is a face mask called KN95 or FFP2. It is made to filter out small particles from the air.
What's happening? Some of these masks do not work well. Tests show they may only filter 26% of particles. This is much lower than it should be.
Does this affect me? If you have one of these masks, it may not protect you well. This is a problem in the Czech Republic.
What should I do? Stop using the mask. Ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice on a safer mask.
