What is this? Magnetic putty is a stretchy slime that sticks to metal because it has tiny magnets inside. Some kinds also contain chemicals like barium, lead and boron.
What's happening? Tests show that too much of these chemicals can leak out of the putty. The magnets inside are also very strong.
Does this affect me? If you have magnetic putty at home, especially if it is meant for children, you may be at risk.
What should I do? Stop using it right away and ask your pharmacist or doctor if you have used it.
