What is this? A string of battery-powered fairy lights made in China. The plug-in power box can be opened by hand, exposing live wires.

What's happening? The box cover is loose. If you open it, you could touch the wires inside and get a dangerous electric shock.

Does this affect me? Anyone using these lights in the Czech Republic is at risk.

What should I do? Stop using the lights right away. Ask a shop or a pharmacist or doctor for safe replacement lights.
