Hazard: Due to a design change introducing an internal chamfer in the rear seat back lock button, the latch actuation rod can catch on this chamfer, preventing its upwards movement. As a result the rear seat back may not be securely latched when returned to its upright position after folding, and the occupant of the rear seat and any items stored in the luggage compartment may not be correctly restrained in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of injury.

What is this? This is about a problem in some Nissan Juke cars. A small part inside the rear seat lock button may not work right.
What's happening? The lock button can get stuck. This means the rear seat may not stay up properly. If there is a crash, people or things in the back could get hurt.
Does this affect me? If you own or use a Nissan Juke from the listed countries, you may be at risk.
What should I do? Take your car to a Nissan dealer right away. Ask your dealer or a mechanic to check the rear seat locks.
