❓ Frequently asked questions
▸ Which foods carry Salmonella most often?
Raw or undercooked poultry, eggs, meat, and (less commonly) raw vegetables, sprouts, and unpasteurised dairy. Proper cooking destroys it.
▸ Should I throw out a Salmonella-recalled product?
Yes. Don't taste, don't feed to pets. Dispose of it in a way pets and wildlife can't reach. Clean any surfaces it touched.
