What is this? This is about dried sausage skins (called tripa seca laminada) that may have a small amount of a banned drug left in them. The drug is called nitrofurazone, and it can turn into something called SEM.
What's happening? Some of these sausage skins from China have been found to have SEM in them. This is not allowed in Europe.
